Isaac Galvan is responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of EDUCAUSE’s cybersecurity and privacy community program. His portfolio includes the Cybersecurity and Privacy Professionals Conference, virtual symposia and webinars, community group programming, advisory and program committee leadership, and stewardship of core member resources.
Isaac joined EDUCAUSE in 2024 after more than 10 years at the University of Illinois. He is committed to practical, people-centered security, and his current work focuses on AI in cybersecurity, third-party risk management, and institutional risk practice. He has earned the CISSP and speaks and writes regularly for the higher education cybersecurity and privacy community.
